Set Goals and Track Your Progress

Goals let you set a distance target and watch your progress build as you train. FitKeep tracks every qualifying activity against the goal automatically.

Create a goal

  1. Open the Goals page in FitKeep
  2. Select Create Goal
  3. Give the goal a name (for example, “Weekly Running”)
  4. Set a target distance
  5. Choose which activity types count toward it — all running, all cycling, foot sports, or all activities
  6. Pick a goal mode (see below) and save

Goal modes

  • By date — set a start and end date for a one-off target, such as a distance challenge for the year, month, or week.
  • Recurring — the goal repeats automatically every week or every month, so it resets each period without you recreating it.

How progress is tracked

FitKeep adds up the distance from every activity that matches your goal’s activity types and date range. As you log activities, your progress bar fills in automatically — there is nothing to update by hand.

For time-bound goals, FitKeep also shows an expected pace line: where you should be today to finish on schedule. You’ll see whether you’re ahead, behind, or on schedule at a glance, along with the catch-up needed to get back on track.

Where to view goals

  • The Goals page lists all active goals with progress and projections
  • The dashboard surfaces your goal progress alongside recent activity

Managing goals

  • Edit a goal at any time to adjust its name, target, or dates
  • Archive a goal you’ve finished with to hide it without losing its history
  • Restore an archived goal from the Goals page, or delete it permanently
